THREE COOL THINGS WE'RE INTO

1.The Cognitive Bias Codex
If you have a brain, you have biases. Turns out...we have a lot of them. This beautifully designed graphic breaks down dozens of cognitive biases into clear categories, helping us better understand how our brains take shortcuts, and where that can get us into trouble. Awareness is the first step toward managing our biases. (Though, fair warning: thinking you can fully overcome your biases is itself...a bias. Psychologists call it the bias blind spot.)

2. Maker’s Schedule, Manager’s Schedule
This cult-classic blog post originally blew up in the tech world, but its insight applies to any creative or knowledge-based team. The core idea: creative work requires deep focus, and deep focus requires uninterrupted time. As managers, we can’t always avoid interrupting that flow—but we can be more aware of the cost. When we understand the tradeoffs, we can make wiser choices about meetings, schedules, and how we support real work getting done.

3. Think Again Quiz
In just 10 questions and 5 minutes, this quiz gives you insight into how you approach changing minds—your own and others’. Based on the work of organizational psychologist Adam Grant, it prompts you to rethink how you rethink. Why does it matter? Because the willingness to revisit assumptions and change your mind is one of the most high-leverage emotional intelligence skills out there.
